Personal Musical Development

Hi friends,
This is an unrelated post to the project itself, but I just wanted to share an experience that I had last night. It was my first time sitting alongside a professional band (Moving Violations plus Peter Barnes) in Greenfield as an unpaid, unmiked player. I was invited to sit up front with all the paid musicians instead of in back as I had expected. The best part was that I was welcomed to come back anytime I pleased and play whatever medleys I knew. This was a very exciting step for me in my development as a musician, and I thought you all should know about it. :)

Thank you Peter and Mary Alice!

Thank you to the Amidons for a wonderful evening! I gained a lot of knowledge on the challenges of being self-employed, got some advice about how I can continue to be as involved as possible with music, and learned what it's like when you first start out being a self-employed musician.

Keith and Becky

Dinner, tunes, and interview with Keith and Becky went wonderfully! Learned a lot about being in a band, lessons learned, and got good advice about how to be a musician successfully. Looking forward to interviewing the Amidons tomorrow!
